Single : The Way I Walk – Jack Scott

download-18

These are the kinds of songs that made Babyhead a rock n roll lover.  Jukebox heaven.  Great beat, cool lyrics, wicked guitar, backing vocals and that sax.  Man!  All those elements and more.  What a cool song.  A gem and a treasure.

Where Jack got the feel who knows but he got  and got it good (or bad).  Hit repeat and slide into grease-ball city and “go hog wild”

(CB first heard Robert Gordon and Link Wray do this.  What a killer version .  Link, Link’s out on a killer solo).

Well, you double-stumped me on this one, CB. I have never heard of Jack Scott nor have I ever heard this song. I’m diggin’ it. Thanks.

That’s why we’re here. Not to stump but to remind and share the music that turns us on. I seen Robert Gordon and Chris Spedding do this live. High lite. Jim if you like this one check out Jack’s ‘Goodbye Baby’. Another very cool tune.

Don’t know how you are with rock a billy but CB is a card carrying member. Check it out. Also ‘Goodbye Baby’ by Jack also. Gordon/Wray version I heard first. Made me go look for the original.

Yup! All the original sun guys for sure. I checked out Miller. I’ll have to do more I like it. I know there was a big rock a billy following on your side. Gene Vincent is the man for CB. Jeff Beck has a great tribute to him, more to his guitar player, Chris Gallup. But Jack caught some lightning with this one. Thanks
