Howdy everyone. My friend Max (https://powerpop.blog/) is throwing some words together about ‘Life In The Foodchain’ by Tonio K. I threw this album at him to see what he thought. So he took up the torch and did some Max Magic on this fantastic record.
Now I’m going to sit my lazy bum up on the bank and see if I can hook a big one. (Maybe do the funky western civilization)
Later folks and thank you Max for spreading the word on Tonio K and all the other great music you cover.

I will check this out CB. Max is one the best blog writers going and I love the fact that one day he can post AC/DC Night Prowler followed the next day by Little Richard. Thats fantastic stuff as he can zip in and out of different genres like no one’s business!

Now that is an a.w.e.s.o.m.e. tune! With Booker T., Kim Keltner and T. Bone Burnett as backing musicians, you got my immediate attention!
I’ll be checking out that album. As I told Max, I had never heard of Tonio K. before. Good stuff!

I knew you’d it!. Booker T was the hook.
(Ill drop a visit at your place. I already peeked and saw the Keltner connection)

The name is vaguely familiar. 1978? Sounds like one that passed me by. Giving it a listen now. Sounds pretty rockin’.

I did a take on a song of his before. You liked it. Interesting guy. Max dug up some of that back story you like. Lots of cool connections.

Max is a digger; the Indiana Jones of the music blogging world. He sniffs out obscure artist like a blue pig finds truffles, and they are always interesting. Good to see you back CB.

Indiana Max, I like that. There’s money in them there “truffles”

Yeah, the comparison seemed to fit. As far as I know, I’ve never eaten a truffle, except the chocolate kind that doesn’t count.
