I Remember You

There are so many good musicians out in the music world.  It’s a tough gig trying to get a foothold and then keeping it.  So many come and go and it is so cool when you come across somebody who’s still doing it and hanging in making quality music.  Guys like Colin Hay.  I have two of his earlier albums and they are very good.  I listen to them occasionally.  But over the years I lost touch with what he was doing.

Which brings me to Mumbling About..  I stumbled onto Tony’s station (it is chock full of all sorts of good stuff and I’m still making my way through it. He kinda likes Bruce and Pearl Jam. Not a bad thing.) and a piece he did on Colin Hay caught my eye.  Just the fact that he took time to give Colin some space was cool but even cooler it was an update on what he’s been doing.  Still making quality music.  So have a look at Tony’s piece on one of those musicians that are still doing it and doing it well.  This is one of the things about tuning into places like Mumbling About… that I enjoy, it reminds me of all the good music that is out there waiting for me.  Thanks Tony.
