Gonna keep this short.

Cincinnati Babyhead couldn’t resist this music.  All sorts of styles, blues, jazz, rock, country… all done J.J. Cale style.  Great guitar and vocals.  Putting it all together.

Not a bad cut on the album.  All songs contribute to one of Babyhead’s all time favorite records.  ‘Magnolia’ is just beautiful.  ‘Don’t Go To Strangers’  just sounds cool.  ‘Crazy Mama’, ‘After Midnight’,  what can CB say.  Perfect.  ‘Call Me The Breeze’, ‘Bringing It Back’, ‘Clyde’…..every song has it’s own cool vibe.

There is all sorts of music.  This is J.J. Cale music.  Unique.  You never heard this guy?  Do yourself a favor and be treated to some real good stuff.  Timeless.  American music.

This music left its mark on CB.   J.J. is just one of the best.  Some of the coolest music you’ll ever hear from one of the world’s coolest guys.

Its after midnight so..

“Let it all hang out”

I’ve known this one since I was a baby in arms, just bought it last week actually. I’d not heard it in 25 years but could still sing every lyric and every melody. Classy.

Good pick up. You must dig the cover.huh? He became one of my favorite musicians. He certainly never sold out to the machine. Some people made a few of his songs popular and put some cash in J.J.’s pockets. Probably made him happy. Cool that his music appeals to you. Thanks for dropping by 1537.
