Macreedy walks into a cafe and sits at the counter. Chili and beans are the only thing on the menu. He’ll have it. Reno and Coley walk in and you know it’s trouble.
Mcready is sitting in Coley’s stool. Mcready obliges and moves over but Coley doesn’t like the new stool either. “Ain’t comfortable”. Coley keeps pushing and gets the trouble he’s looking for but he gets the wrong end of it.
Everyone involved contributes to this classic scene. Tracy gives an acting lesson, subtle and in the moment.
The lesson here for Cincinnati Babyhead is, don’t push a one armed man or you might get the snot kicked out of you. Just ask Ernie.
Spencer Tracy superb here. Plus a troop of top class villains. Thom
