Speaks his mind on music & movies!
Leon Russell piano intro, drums pick up the beat then that voice comes in. The horns punch it. The song just keeps building and adding more to this great cut.
Great live music. CB could really feel the energy of this song. What a slice of great music. Babyhead pulled this off “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” and was jumping around when this tune hit him.
“Get me a ticket for an aoplane, I ain’t got time to take no fast train..”
Joe and the gang nail it!!! Check the video, Joe Cocker “The Letter” in live 1970 (Mad Dogs & Englishmen) you’ll see it and hear it. So many cool players on this tune. Fantastic!!
Joe Cocker was the man. A Babyhead fave.
